ESE TERMINAL
LPI offers three types of direct strike protection systems, which include the full package of air terminals and accessories. The LPI range of terminals provides a safe and efficient way of protection from direct lightning strikes. The ESE terminal captures the lightning at a preferred point. The energy is conveyed to ground via down conductors there by protecting personnel and equipments.
World wide leading architects & consultants prefer ESE (Early Streamer Emission) technology over conventional method of lightning rod due to is better performance and easiness of installation. ESE terminals allow the user to go for only 1 lightning rod & 1 down conductor to cover more than 200 meters of area approximately.
LPI manufactures ESE terminals in full compliance with the French National Standard NF C 17-102.
LPI Guardian System 5 provides a purpose-designed package for direct lightning protection. The Guardian System 5 has been tested in compliance to IEC Test Standard: IEC 60-1:1989.
The LPI Stormaster ESE range of terminals provides a safe and efficient system for the protection of your facility from direct lightning strikes. The Stormaster ESE range of terminals have been fully tested in accordance with NF C 17-102 in a high voltage laboratory.
In Addition LPI also offers conventional lightning protection system which complies to International Standards such as IEC 62305, BS EN 62305 and AS/NZ 1768.
SURGE PROTECTION
LPI also provides surge protection devices for all typical applications like mains power, data line, co axial line, telephone line etc.
The LPI SF Series Surge Filter provides multiple stage protection against incoming surges & transients and shall be installed in series with the incoming mains power supply to the equipment or building. Shunt-only clamping alone is not sufficient, as it does not limit the excessive wavefront characteristic of the pre-clamped waveform. The LPI SF surge filter will reduce the rate of rise of voltage (dv/dt) to below 10V/Micro as per AS 1768-1991 Cat B 3kA 8/20Micro applied impulse and to below 30V/Micro for AS 1768-1991 Cat C 20kA Micro applied impulse.
