Power Saving Electronic Street Light Controllers shortly known as SLC is one among state-of-the-art power conservation product. It is the most efficient solution to our street light controlling requirements as it not only efficiently manages ON/OFF operations of street lights (using Real Time Clock (RTC) through Astronomical Timer) and can reduces power consumption by 25-30% through a host of salient methods.
Product Features:
Non-contact type Electronic Switching of Street Lights using Thyristor Modules. Thereby minimizing chances of failure and having expected life to 5-8 years compared to 3-5 years of Contactor switching based Controllers.
Switch ON and OFF the street light loads, at rated power factor at pre-determined time
The unit works on Real Time Clock based Astronomical Timer (switching time based on sunrise and sunset depending on season automatically) with provision for setting extra time due to twilight conditions for energy saving provided, using a dip switch/knob.
Street light ON/OFF timing accuracy is maintained within 60 seconds from preset time under the entire range of environment conditions.
Facilities to switch ON/OFF the streetlight loads, manually by-passing the programmed circuit.
Type Test on the product at NPL accredited Lab (ETDC) conducted.
Protections :
Have protection from over voltage i.e. load switch OFF when voltage goes above 260+/-5V (adjustable at factory end) and auto restart when normal voltage is sensed i.e. 250+/-5V.
Have protection from under voltage i.e. load switch OFF when voltage goes below 160+/-5V.
We will provide MCB for Over Load/ Short circuit protection.
The enclosure of the Astronomical timer will have IP protection.
Provisions :
Space for installing 1 No. Single Phase Energy meter will be provided with wiring done.
230V, 63A Porcelain Fuse Unit and Neutral Link will be provided.
Clamping arrangement suitable for mounting of single phase 10kW Astronomical Timer enclosure on the pole will be provided
